Coon Rapids at Armstrong

Friday, Oct. 4

One of the top matchups of the week statewide takes place at Robbinsdale Armstrong, as 4-1 Coon Rapids tries to become the first to knock off the 5-0 Falcons. Armstrong has won each of its games by at least 18 points.

Andover at Chisago Lakes

Friday, Oct. 4

Andover looks to build off of its 41-6 homecoming blowout of Cambridge-Isanti in a road game at Chisago Lakes. The Wildcats are 2-3, losing 36-8 against Elk River in week five.

Anoka at Totino-Grace

Friday, Oct. 4

Totino-Grace is on a roll, having won four in a row after dropping its opener on a late field goal. Anoka enters with a 1-4 record.

Rogers at St. Francis

Friday, Oct. 4

St. Francis holds its homecoming game against rolling Rogers. The Royals have won four in a row, including a pair by shutout.

Oct. 4-15

Section tournaments continue with team and individual play through Oct. 15. Columbia Heights, Fridley, Spring Lake Park and Totino-Grace are competing in Section 4AA; Anoka and Coon Rapids are competing in Section 5AA; and Andover, Blaine and St. Francis are competing in Section 7AA.

Oct. 7-15

It is survive and advance time in boys and girls soccer as the postseason begins. Andover, Anoka, Blaine and Coon Rapids will compete in Section 7AA; Spring Lake Park is in 5AA; Columbia Heights, Fridley and Totino-Grace are in Section 5A; PACT is in Section 6A; and St. Francis and Legacy Christian are in Section 7A.

St. Francis at Andover

Tuesday, Oct. 8

A late regular season non-conference match features Section 7AAA opponents squaring off with St. Francis at Andover. Both teams entered October undefeated against section competition.

NWSC Championships

Thursday, Oct. 10

The Northwest Suburban Conference meet takes place in Elk River, with Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Coon Rapids, Spring Lake Park and Totino-Grace in the field.

PACT/Legacy hits the course at Bassett Creek Park in Crystal for the Minnesota Classic conference meet.
