The 2022 USPHL Midwest West Division champion Minnesota Blue Ox followed up a historic year with more achievements following the conclusion of their season based out of Coon Rapids.
The Blue Ox went 43-8-1 on the year, their best record in franchise history and reached the National Tournament for their third time in their five years of existence. The team finished the year with eight players committed to play collegiately this fall.
Included in the group are Andover’s Michael Clough and Hayden Masloski, committed to Purdue Northwestern of the ACHA.
Clough ended his two-year career as the Blue Ox all-time leading scorer with 68 goals, 102 assists and 170 points. He also had 12 game winning goals.
Masloski tallied 43 goals, 114 assists and eight game-winners.
The Blue Ox have had 34 player advancements over their first five seasons.
Along with advancing to the Final Four of the USPHL National Tournament this season, the Midwest West divisional champions also compiled a 15-game win streak and a 10-game win streak at the end of the season, during which they outscored their opponents 72-30.
