The lights of the city have been brightly shining in Forest Lake this Christmas season, both at businesses and homes. Forest Lake residents definitely have gotten into the spirit of Christmas in 2009 by lighting up their homes and yards.

On SE 12th Ave. in the bay area of Forest Lake at the Werner home, a lighted nativity scene welcomed visitors to the neighborhood.

Rebecca Werner added the personal touch to the family Christmas display with candy canes and a red bow above the baby Jesus.
