The impending retirement of longtime Anoka County Medical Examiner Dr. Janis Amatuzio is prompting some changes in the medical examiner’s office.

While Amatuzio has not yet made her retirement official, it is expected to take place sometime before the end of January 2010, according to Jerry Soma, Anoka County division manager for human services. See more in Managing Editor Peter Bodley's ABC Newspapers story.
