Highway 610 construction closures begin Monday, Nov. 16

Roseville, MN -- As construction of the new Highway 610 segment gets underway, Hemlock Lane and Revere Lane will close early Monday, Nov. 16 and motorists will need to follow a detour.

Both roads will be closed until late June 2010 as crews construct bridges to carry traffic over new Highway 610 in Maple Grove.

Hemlock Lane will be closed between 95th Avenue and 97th Avenue.
Posted Detour:  
• Southbound:  Go east on 97th Avenue to Zachary Lane; south to County Road 81 and west to Hemlock Lane
• Northbound:  Go east on County Road 81 to Zachary Lane; north to 97th Avenue and west to Hemlock Lane

Revere Lane will be closed from 96th Avenue to 97th Place.
Posted Detour:  
• Southbound:  Go east on 101st Avenue to Jefferson Highway; south to 93rd Avenue and west to Revere Lane
• Northbound:  Go east on 93rd Avenue to Jefferson Highway; north to 101st Avenue and west to Revere Lane

The new Highway 610 alignment includes nearly three miles of four-lane highway from Highway 169 in Brooklyn Park to County Road 81 in Maple Grove. The project includes two interchanges, three overpasses, a pedestrian bridge and noisewalls.  Construction is scheduled to be complete in July 2011.
