After six years of saying no, voters in the St. Francis Independent School District approved both operating levies requested by the district.

When the unofficial Nov. 3 election results came in, 3,561 residents voted yes on question one, which will give the district $290 per pupil for each of the next five years. See more in ABC Newspapers story.
