Area fire departments and the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office responded to a house fire in Oxford Township—located in the southeastern part of Isanti County—around 11 a.m. on Monday, March 8. Upon arrival at 25076 Vassar St. NE, Isanti County deputies reported the house was almost totally engulfed in flames.

Preliminary investigation revealed the fire may have started from a vehicle parked in the garage. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
