Not one, but three baskets of gifts, donated by local merchants, Fairview and the Fairview Lakes Auxiliary, welcomed Tanner Thomas Nysse, the first baby of the new year at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming.
He is the Nysses’ first child and the first grandchild on both sides of his family. Tanner and Megan’s father, Thomas, share the same January 1 birthday.
Megan’s doctors were Julie Lin Becker and Jennifer Peoples of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at Fairview Lakes Medical Center.
Tanner, pictured with his parents, Megan and Aaron Nysse of Stacy, and auxiliary members Randy VonWald (standing, left) and Mary Ann Cooper, arrived at 12:52 a.m. Jan. 1, weighing 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and measuring 23 inches long. He is the Nysses’ first child.
