Funeral service held at Camp Ripley for Specialist Cauley

cauleyserviceSpecialist George W. Cauley died a hero on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, in Bagram, Afghanistan, from injuries suffered Oct. 7, 2009, while serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Specialist Cauley was a Heavy Vehicle Operator and a member of the 114th Transportation Company “Wolfpack.” Cauley, 24, was born in Crosby, Minnesota. He graduated from Northland High School in Remer, Minnesota, in 2003.

A funeral service for Specialist George W. Cauley was held Tuesday, Oct. 20, at the Camp Ripley Memorial Chapel, Little Falls. Here, members of the Patriot Guard stand as an honor guard outside the chapel. The Patriot Guard assists in making sure nobody disrupts the service. Gov.
