Ask real questions at your peril
Bringing all the resources of government to listen to terrorists international phone calls? Uh-uh. No way; an infringement on civil liberties that should scare the bejeebus out of any sane American. Using the resources of government to discredit a private citizen who had the misfortune to ask a really good question of a presidential candidate? Well, that’s just fine.
Then there’s what happens to a media outlet for asking tough questions:
“This cancellation is non-negotiable, and further opportunities for your station to interview with this campaign are unlikely, at best for the duration of the remaining days until the election,” wrote Laura K. McGinnis, Central Florida communications director for the Obama campaign.
Says WFTV news director Bob Jordan, “We choose not to ask softball questions.” WFTV is just the latest media source to be banned by the Obama camp for asking tough questions; a list that includes such presitigious names as….uh….hmmm…never mind.
UPDATE: Another station banned for asking real questions. What’s humorous about this is how obviously unprepared Biden is to answer real questions. Why, it’s almost as though he hasn’t had to answer them before. Hmmm.
