All the pathology…
…of the far left is on display in this one handy commentary about - you guessed it - climate change.*
“Award winning journalist,” graduate of the Columbia School of Journalism, and former contributor to the NYT, Dave Lindorff can hardly contain his glee that conservatives will bear the brunt of climate change.*
…huge swaths of conservative America are set to face a biblical deluge in a few more presidential cycles.
Certainly there is something “biblical” about the predictions of climate change* devotees, in fact they seem to relish in a rather Old Testament approach to the subject. But “good will to men” didn’t quite make the grade in the new religion of environmentalism, as Lindorff apparently sees conservative America’s suffering as its just penance:
There is a poetic justice to this of course.
Another one the commandments of the new religion of environmentalism is absolute adherence to dogma. Here, Lindorff doesn’t disappoint either, as political purity outweighs all:
They certainly should be offered assistance in their time of need, but we need to keep a firm grip on our political systems, making sure that these guilty throngs who allowed the world to go to hell are gerrymandered into political impotence in their new homes.
How appropriate, his use of the word “hell.” Can I get an amen?
As is common with the “fire and brimstone” approach. Lindorff provides a harbinger, a sign if you will, that will signal the biblical flood destined to wreak havoc on the evil-doer:
The area that will by completely inundated by the rising ocean–and not in a century but in the lifetime of my two cats…
And thus is the wrath of Gaia put on cat watch. For it is they which mark the beginning of the end for the “troglodyte.” Can I get an amen?
Of course, none of this has to happen. Troglodytes still have time to mend their ways. Kneel before the golden felines, beg the forgiveness of Gaia with a ritual sacrifice of the SUV, and devote their futures to a penance of carbon taxes.
Can. I. Get. An. Amen?
*All references to “global warming” become “climate change” from November through March so as not to confuse the troglodytes.
